Jowita Przystał is a Polish dancer who joined BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2021. A year later, she won the show with wildlife presenter Hamza Yassin. He was her first celebrity partner on the main series.
However, her career began long before Strictly. She trained in Poland, competed in Latin dance and toured with Burn the Floor. Then, in 2020, she and Michael Danilczuk won BBC’s The Greatest Dancer.
Today, viewers want to know more about her age, height and life outside the ballroom. Fans also follow her work with each new celebrity partner. In the 2026 series, she dances with Emmerdale actor Lawrence Robb. This guide covers her career and the personal details she has shared, while keeping unconfirmed claims separate from facts.
Jowita Przystal Height
Many public profiles list Jowita’s height at around 1.52 metres, or 5 feet. However, some round the figure to 1.5 metres, so the numbers differ slightly.
On Strictly, she works with partners of different heights. Each pair must find the right posture, balance and spacing for their routine. For example, a ballroom hold calls for a different position from a Latin dance.
Height alone does not decide how well a couple dances. Timing, trust and clear movement also matter. Jowita developed these skills through years of training, dance contests and live shows.
Jowita Przystał Illness
The information reviewed for this article does not confirm a specific illness. Therefore, online searches about Jowita’s health should not serve as proof of a medical condition.
A search phrase can reflect curiosity or a rumour. It does not tell readers whether the claim is true. Likewise, a short video or social media photo cannot provide a reliable account of someone’s health.
If Jowita shares a health update, her own words would offer a sound basis for reporting it. Until then, there is no clear reason to attach an illness or diagnosis to her name.
Jowita Przystał Weight
Jowita has not confirmed her current weight in the information reviewed for this article. As a result, figures on celebrity websites may reflect guesses rather than facts.
Weight can also change over time. Even an older figure would not necessarily describe someone’s current weight. For that reason, readers should avoid treating an unsourced number as accurate.
Her career offers a much clearer picture of her work. She has competed in Latin dance, toured on stage and taught celebrities on television. In addition, her wins on The Greatest Dancer and Strictly mark two major steps in her career.
Jowita Przystal Age
Jowita was born on 22 August 1994, so she is 32 years old as of October 2026. She comes from Poland and began dancing at the age of 12.
Her early training led her into ballroom and Latin dance contests. Then, in 2014, she and Michael Danilczuk won the Polish Open Latin title.
In 2015, she moved from contests into stage work with Burn the Floor. After four years with the touring show, she moved to the UK in 2019.
The following year, she and Michael won The Greatest Dancer. That success helped introduce her to British viewers before she joined Strictly in 2021.
Jowita Przystał Children
Jowita has not publicly confirmed having children in the information reviewed for this article. Therefore, it is best to avoid firm claims about this part of her private life.
She shares aspects of her work with fans, but that does not mean she shares every family detail. Most public coverage focuses on her dance career and television appearances.
Also, the word “partner” can cause confusion in stories about Strictly. A celebrity dance partner works with a professional on the show. The term does not, by itself, describe a romantic relationship or family connection.
Jowita Przystał Strictly Partner 2026
Jowita dances with Lawrence Robb in the 2026 series of Strictly Come Dancing. Viewers may recognise him as Mackenzie Boyd from ITV’s Emmerdale.
The pair began their partnership during the launch show. Since then, they have worked together on routines for the live competition.
Lawrence brings acting experience to the ballroom. However, the show also asks him to learn dance steps, rhythm and posture. Meanwhile, Jowita guides him through each new style and helps him prepare for the judges.
As of October 2026, the series was still under way. Their final result was therefore not yet available.
Jowita Przystał Strictly 2026
Jowita returned to the Strictly professional line-up in 2026 after dancing with television presenter Ross King in 2025. Her work with Lawrence Robb adds another partnership to her time on the show.
She first joined Strictly in 2021 without a celebrity partner in the main contest. Then, in 2022, she teamed up with Hamza Yassin and won the Glitterball Trophy.
Since that win, she has worked with celebrities from several fields:
- Hamza Yassin, 2022: They won the series.
- Jody Cundy, 2023: She danced with the Paralympic athlete.
- Pete Wicks, 2024: They reached the semi-final and finished fifth.
- Ross King, 2025: She partnered with the television presenter.
- Lawrence Robb, 2026: She dances with the Emmerdale actor.
Each partnership brings new strengths and challenges. For instance, one celebrity may find it easier to perform for an audience, while another may learn the steps more quickly.
As a result, Jowita must adapt her teaching. Her role includes helping each partner build skills and confidence as the weeks progress.
Jowita Przystał Weight and Height
Public profiles commonly give Jowita’s height as approximately 1.52 metres, or 5 feet. However, she has not confirmed a current weight in the information reviewed here.
These details need different treatment. Her height appears across several profiles, although some round the number. In contrast, there is no reliable weight figure to include.
Beyond those measurements, Jowita Przystał’s career shows years of work across dance contests, theatre and television. She moved from Latin dance in Poland to touring with Burn the Floor. Later, she won two BBC dance shows.
Her 2022 win with Hamza Yassin remains a key moment. Now, her work with Lawrence Robb gives viewers another chance to follow her teaching and performances on Strictly.
